MBABANE – Young Buffaloes have their eyes firmly set at the top spot when they
welcome ‘recuperating’ Vovovo a Somhlolo National Stadium this afternoon.
With log leaders, Mbabane Swallows, only in action against Matsapha United
tomorrow, it is an opportunity for Dominic Kunene’s men to claim the top spot.
The unbeaten security forces ensemble are just two points shy of the top spot
and a win will help them to put pressure on Swallows ahead of their showdown.
Standing in the way of Buffaloes is an improving Vovovo.
The arrival of Coach Musa Mamba at the side is just what the doctor has ordered
in the bid to challenge for a respectable finish. The experienced coach seems to
be a broom that sweeps the cleanest after collecting four points in the two
games in charge. A lone strike by Buffaloes forward Sifiso ‘Junior’ Mazibuko
separated the two sides in the reverse fixture. A slip-up will be suicidal for
Buffaloes as Swallows will stand a chance to open a five-point gap. For Vovovo,
they have to keep on grinding the results to stay clear of the drop zone.
