Times Of Swaziland: ZAKHELE TAKES OVER ‘DAZZA’ MATTER ZAKHELE TAKES OVER ‘DAZZA’ MATTER ================================================================================ BY SABELO GWEBU on 13/09/2017 04:03:00 MBABANE – Zakhele Dlamini has taken over Darren ‘Dazza’ Christie ownership battle with Mbabane Swallows. The former Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) chief executive officer (CEO) now represents the flying forward in the matter yet to be heard by the Football Association (FA) Players’ Status Committee. The matter was postponed last night as the committee did not form a quorum. ‘Dazza’ desperately wants to join ambitious elite league new boys Matsapha United, where he is currently training and has reportedly put pen to paper following his contract expiry with Manzini Sundowns, where he was on loan for the past three seasons. The player is in some sort of tug-of-war with his parent club Swallows, where his clearance is currently held, arguing that he does not have a contract with the capital city giants. The former Sihlangu star was with his new legal representative, Dlamini last night at Sigwaca House, as the matter failed to take off. ‘Dazza’ is on record disputing that he has any contract with Swallows and that he was a free agent. Though Swallows, through General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane, said that the former Sihlangu man will be released to join a team of his choice; it seems it has not been the case about two weeks later. ‘Dazza’ is itching to make his Matsapha debut, when the SwaziBank Cup 2017 losing finalists welcome Red Lions in an MTN League encounter on Sunday. Out of respect, Sundowns returned ‘Dazza’s clearance back to Swallows. Swallows, ‘Dazza’s guardian club, loaned the crafty forward to Sundowns three seasons ago with the understanding they will return him when they no longer needed his services.
