Times Of Swaziland: PAPY, MABILA OUT OF MC ALGER CLASH PAPY, MABILA OUT OF MC ALGER CLASH ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 19/06/2017 04:22:00 NGWENYA – Just when Mbabane Swallows require every player in the last three Total CAF Confederation Cup matches, the duo of talented midfielder Papy Kabamba and solid defender Sifiso Mabila have been ruled out with injuries. The pair was left behind yesterday when Swallows departed the country by road to Johannesburg, South Africa through the Ngwenya Border Gate to connect their flight to Algeria. They have a date with MC Alger, who played them to a goalless draw at the Somhlolo National Stadium on June 2. Last Tuesday, the club had been hopeful that its regular players would all be available for the trip as their medical team worked tirelessly to try and get them fit for the match. However, as things proved yesterday when they left, the two could not make it. The nature of their injuries could not be ascertained especially because the club’s General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane was too preoccupied at the border, which had a very long and stagnant queue. Zwane had to focus on getting the team across as they had a plane to catch at exactly 6:30pm that would take them to Algeria where they are expected to arrive in the morning hours today. “We are used to playing without some of our players due to injuries and suspension so we can steal the maximum points,” said the club’s captain and left-footed winger Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze before crossing to South Africa yesterday. Tsabedze said they were ready to fight for their country tomorrow. He said ‘losing was not an option’ but a win was required. “We can’t lose but we know it will be tough so a draw would still be valuable away,” he declared.
