This farm belongs to His Majesty King Mswati III and is found along the Buhleni-Madlangempisi public road. This publication has gathered that Mfanuzile Msweli was shot at in the early hours of yesterday. It is said he was together with another unidentified relative who mistook him to be one of the animals they were poaching. They are said to have separated when tracking an impala. Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Inspector Khulani Mamba confirmed the incident. He said the incident happened at Gorge Farm and Msweli was rushed to hospital after he was shot in his left leg. “The matter was reported to the Buhleni police and investigations are still ongoing,” he said. This publication has also learnt that this is the second incident to be reported this month of persons who have mistakenly shot at each other during poaching. Just recently, a 70-year-old elderly man was arrested and charged by the Buhleni police after he shot at his relative while they were poaching. The elderly man, Ndabazezwe Dlamini, had also mistaken his relative to be the impala they were tracking. This incident happened near Herefords.
