LATE CMAC BOSS’S 2 FAMILY MEMBERS DIE OF COVID-19

MBABANE – It’s triple tragedy!
While funeral preparations are ongoing for Makhosazaa Khoza, the deceased
Executive Director of the Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration Commission
(CMAC), two other family members have passed away.
Khoza’s sister, Busi, also succumbed to a COVID-19-related illness yesterday
morning.
Also, her sister-in-law passed away on Monday due to a COVID-19-related illness.

Khoza’s husband, Prince Mfanalobovu, confirmed the sad news yesterday.
Khoza died last week Tuesday morning.
The prince said his mother-in-law was also admitted to the intensive care unit
(ICU) at the Luke Commission facility situated at Sidvokodvo.
He said he was short for words to describe the whole situation that had befallen
his family. He mentioned that what shocked them the most was that in the midst
of their preparations for the burial of his wife, all of a sudden, his sister
and sister-in-law also passed on.
“It is true, my sister and my sister-in-law have been confirmed dead. I just
got a message this morning from my brother, informing me of the sad news. I am
shocked and don’t know how to describe the whole situation.
“While we are still making preparations for the burial of my wife, then this
happens. What makes matters worse is that my mother-in-law is also admitted to
the ICU at the Luke Commission,” the prince said.
He mentioned that a memorial service for his wife was scheduled for Friday at
the A.M.E Church at Msunduza Township and she would be laid to rest on Saturday
morning at the Mahwalala Cemetery.
The prince said his brother-in-law was still finalising logistics regarding the
burial of his sister.
“I have been communicating with my brother-in-law concerning my sister’s
burial preparations and nothing has been confirmed yet,” he said.
Wedding
Meanwhile, Khoza tested positive for COVID-19 a day after her wedding, which
took place on December 19, 2020 at the Royal Swazi Convention Centre.
Of note is that about a month before her wedding, she had been appointed to the
position of executive director at CMAC in November.
In a previous interview with a family member who identified himself as Prince
Khokhumcatfo, he said Khoza died from COVID-19 complications while receiving
treatment in one of the facilities in the country.
Prince Khokhumcatfo stated that immediately after the wedding, Khoza started
feeling ill and she was taken to a private clinic on Sunday.
Results
He noted that tests were done and her results came back positive for the virus.
According to the prince, Khoza was transferred to the Lubombo Referral Hospital
and subsequently to Luke Commission, where she eventually passed on.
Khoza’s appointment was officially announced by the Minister of Labour and
Social Security, Makhosi Vilakati.
Her appointment came after a rigorous selection exercise by the CMAC Board.
