Times Of Swaziland: RSSC’S BHEKISISA ‘BULL’S NEW PRO RSSC’S BHEKISISA ‘BULL’S NEW PRO ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 12/07/2019 03:57:00 MBABANE – There is a new Communications Officer at Mbabane Highlanders. His name is Bhekisisa Dlamini and works for Royal Swaziland Sugar Association (RSSC). His appointment was confirmed yesterday by the club’s Head of Secretariat Gcina Dlamini, whose title was initially Head of Secretariat and Communications. “In a drive to achieve its mandate, it has pleased the Chairman of Directors for Mbabane Highlanders FC, Chief Ally Kgomongwe, to appoint Bhekisisa Dlamini to lead the Communications Unit. Bhekisisa Dlamini is an active member in our Lobamba supporters’ branch. He is an HR professional specialising in Learning and Talent issues in the sugar-belt companies in the country,” he said. Dlamini explained that the latest appointment was with immediate effect as of the meeting which decided on Monday. “His main function is to liaise with the media on issues affecting Mbabane Highlanders FC,” he explained in a statement. Also, he will keep his position as Head of Secretariat and heal all secretariat responsibilities but with more focus in working closely with the General Manager Josiah ‘Digger’ Dlamini for strategic direction. The statement further extends to Kgomongwe being adamant these changes are made for the betterment of the team, and to strengthen service delivery. “Magidza shall assist Bhekisisa as PRO,” explained Dlamini. Meanwhile, the new Communications Officer was also reached for comment. “It’s a pleasure for me to be recognised by the new MD to come and serve the Mbabane Highlanders Family. This is not an easy task but I am grateful that I will be working with such an experienced MC team,” he said. Meanwhile, Paul ‘Magidz’eludzakeni’ Masilela had been holding the reins in the club as PRO. He acknowledged the news and said he was ready to work with Bhekisisa. “He had even won the MC election in our last meeting at Lobamba, but somehow was not allowed in so now that he’s here, we’re all excited to have him on board. He’s going to be heading the Comunications Unit so that whatever I say on radio I consult with him, but he’ll be more on the news side with the media on issues about the team,” he said. He said Kgomongwe has done well to appoint Bhekisisa and expressed confidence they will have a good working relationship as they both serve Mbabane Highlanders.
