Times Of Swaziland: BIZZAH JAILED 26 YEARS BIZZAH JAILED 26 YEARS ================================================================================ BY MBONGISENI NDZIMANDZE on 11/09/2018 03:49:00 MBABANE – “He has no qualms about using a dangerous weapon on a fellow human being.” This was one of the sentiments shared by Judge Titus Mlangeni when sentencing owner of KaBizzah drinking spot, Sibusiso Kukuza Dlamini, to 26 years imprisonment. KaBizzah is a popular drinking spot situated in Kwaluseni, Matsapha. Dlamini, who was recently convicted of murder, was sentenced by Judge Mlangeni yesterday. In his judgment on the sentence, Judge Mlangeni stated that on July 17, 2018, he found Dlamini guilty of the murder of Lungi Hleta. The judge said the Crown rightly so argued that Dlamini was a violent person. Fatal “I did not find any extenuating circumstances, mainly because at the time the accused (Dlamini) inflicted the numerous fatal wounds upon the deceased, he had already recovered the cigarettes and the money that the deceased had helped himself to,” said Judge Mlangeni. He highlighted that, it was also an established fact that Dlamini, who could have reported a case of theft to the police, took the law into his own hands and hurt Hleta very badly. “The fact that the deceased was his neighbour and much younger than him is such that other means of dealing with the mischief should have come naturally to the mind of the accused person,” observed the court. Judge Mlangeni said if Dlamini did not want to lay criminal charges, he could have taken up the matter with Hleta’s family next door. He pointed out that at the hearing in mitigation; the Crown suggested that there were extenuating circumstances in the matter, being that Hleta helped himself to the property belonging to Dlamini.
