Times Of Swaziland: LISWATI FOUND DEAD IN DRIEKOPPIES DAM LISWATI FOUND DEAD IN DRIEKOPPIES DAM ================================================================================ BY LINDELWA MALINGA on 12/07/2018 04:22:00 MBABANE – A liSwati was found dead and floating in Driekoppies Dam, while carrying a black bag which allegedly had dagga on his back. The South African police are looking for relatives of Zakhele Masinga Ndwandwe (40), who is believed to be from Mbekelweni. His body was discovered last week Monday, by a community member who was passing by the dam, which is between the borderline of RSA and Eswatini. The man’s fingerprints were run on the SA database and he could not be identified until a woman came forward with the information that he was from the Kingdom of Eswatini. Woman Ndwandwe was identified by the woman who alleged to be his lover, who resides in South Africa. The same woman informed the police that Ndwandwe had mentioned that he was from Mbekelweni when they were together. She also informed them that he allegedly made a living by selling dagga and would spend most of his time in South Africa. Information gathered from the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Schoemansdal was that the dagga was not more than a handful. It is suspected that the rest of the dagga might have been taken from Ndwandwe, before he died. When his body was searched there was no form of identification found on him. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black formal pants and black formal shoes. Since his body was in the water for some time, it had started to decompose and his tongue was visibly swollen. It could not be established how long the body had been in the dam, as the woman informed the police that she had thought he was still in Eswatini.
