Times Of Swaziland: PUPIL PETROL-BOMBS ANOTHER’S HOME IN FIGHT OVER GIRL PUPIL PETROL-BOMBS ANOTHER’S HOME IN FIGHT OVER GIRL ================================================================================ BY JOSEPH ZULU on 08/02/2018 01:53:00 PIGG’S PEAK – An alleged love triangle almost ended tragically when a house was petrol-bombed allegedly by a Form IV pupil in an attempt to burn his rival, a Form I scholar. This is said to have happened around Nginamadvolo, where Sethu Mavuso allegedly attacked a boy he claimed was dating his girlfriend. The name of the boy who is in Form I in one of the local schools will not be mentioned for ethical reasons. Mavuso, on the other hand, is said to be 20 years old and is also enrolled in one of the schools around Pigg’s Peak. Following the incident, he was swiftly arrested by the police and has already made an appearance before Pigg’s Peak Magistrate Sabelo Khumalo, charged with attempted murder. He was remanded in custody. Mavuso is alleged to have launched a revenge attack after accusing him of dating the same girl he was interested in. It is alleged that on the day of the incident, Mavuso first took some alcoholic beverages and later bought some petrol from one of the filling stations in Pigg’s Peak. He is then said to have proceeded to Nginamadvolo to his rival’s home. Upon arrival there, Mavuso is alleged to have petrol bombed the house where his intended target was sleeping. It is unclear how he got to know precisely that the boy was sleeping in that particular room. However, just when the fire started, the boy is said to have woken up and escaped through a window, unhurt. Had he woken up a little later, the boy would have burnt inside the house as the fire spread very quickly. .
