Times Of Swaziland: OLD GOVT BUILDING NOW A SEX DEN OLD GOVT BUILDING NOW A SEX DEN ================================================================================ BY JABULISA DLAMINI on 07/02/2018 00:52:00 MANZINI- All that is left at a structure formely owned by government are broken windows and grimy floors cluttered with used condoms, empty beer cans and other junk. The place has been turned into a sex den. These are structures which were once occupied by the Ministry of Agriculture, Veterinary Department before its relocation to the main offices near the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. Government officially handed over the structure to the Municipal Council of Manzini. Despite having a security guard, day and night, such dilapidated structures are now normally used by sex workers in their trade. Market vendors, members of the public and some police officers, confirmed knowledge of the house being used for such shenanigans or shady dealings. “Each night, women are seen making their way to the house with customers who always park their vehicles at a distance,” one woman who has a stall at the Manzini Market said yesterday. Other vendors confirmed that the structure had been abandoned for years now, hence sex workers utilised it to ply their trade. Other members of the public have raised concerns over the structure whose doors remain unclosed. “If these structures still belong to government, why are they not being utilised?” others were heard wondering. Meanwhile, some people have revealed that contacting the police was fruitless, as the sex workers returned regardless of the number of times they got arrested or disciplined by law enforcers.
