Times Of Swaziland: PUPILS EXCEL IN MATRIC PUPILS EXCEL IN MATRIC ================================================================================ BY NTOMBI MHLONGO on 03/01/2018 00:59:00 MBABANE – Sisekelo High School has done it again by recording a 100 per cent pass rate in the Independent Examination Board (IEB) examination. The results, which were released by the school yesterday, reflect that out of 54 pupils who sat for the examination, 44 have qualified for Bachelor’s Degrees, 12 for Diploma and two for the Higher Education Certificates. The top achievers in the results were; Funekile Tsabedze, Mfihlakalo Sihlabela, Nokulunga Kunene, Anytike Mwaisengela, Phumelele Zwane, Nokwanda Mthembu and Samantha Sande. In a press statement sent by the Head teacher, Glory Mabaso, she congratulated the pupils, stating that they achieved results that they were proud of. Dedication “They have truly reaped the reward of dedication and hard work. The 100 per cent pass rate attained is indicative of the effort of the pupils individually and as a collective. We thank all the stakeholders for providing a conducive environment for each of the pupils to attain their personal best. Self-discipline and intrinsic motivation are the ingredients for success,” she said. She stated that the school was grateful to have shared moments with the future leaders in their journey to strive to reach their personal best in everything that they did. “We have no doubt that as they leave the nest, they have all the necessary skills, zest and quest to face the future. Distinctions were recorded in a wide range of subjects which is a sterling performance indeed. We attribute this to the team effort of parents, pupils and teachers,” said Mabaso. Asked to share the school’s secret to success, she mentioned that it remained committed to its purpose of providing learners with an exceptional holistic education.
