Times Of Swaziland: SA MODEL WHO WAS FOUND DEAD WAS MARRIED TO A SWAZI MAN SA MODEL WHO WAS FOUND DEAD WAS MARRIED TO A SWAZI MAN ================================================================================ BY SITHEMBILE HLATSHWAYO on 13/09/2017 04:10:00 MBABANE – The South African model, Lebogang Domenic Mathuloe, who is alleged to have committed suicide, was married to a Swazi man. Her husband, Njabulo Masuku, who is an IT Specialist, confirmed that he paid lobola to Mathuloe’s family and the couple later exchanged vows in church in December 2015. However, Masuku said they grew to realise that their paths were opposite. In the process, Masuku said the relationship did not work out and everything was left hanging. He said currently, he did not have a wife and reports by some South African publications that the model was married to a Swazi polygamist were far-fetched. According to Masuku, they remained civil with Lebogang and respected each other. “I mourn her untimely death. I pray that those responsible for her death face the might of the law and justice should take its course. I plead with the media to allow myself, her family and all those who loved her privacy to mourn a life cut so short,” lamented Masuku. His comments come after speculation that her alleged suicide may have been foul play and in fact, she could have been murdered. Masuku, who is a known Christian, said with regard to issues of his faith, it was a personal matter between himself and God. Masuku said he wished not to implicate any church or institution based on personal decisions. News about the model were published in a number of South African newspapers. Information sourced from the Press Reader- Sowetan revealed that the model, who died at Pecanwood Estate in the early hours of Monday morning, allegedly took her own life. North West Police yesterday also announced that an inquest would be held into the cause of death of Lebogang. There have also been widespread posts on social media claiming that Mathuloe had been stabbed by her ‘white boyfriend’. However, the police have disputed this version, adding that a post-mortem would be carried out to determine the cause of her death.
