Times Of Swaziland: NGCOSENI ‘SEXY TEACHERS’ SUMMONED NGCOSENI ‘SEXY TEACHERS’ SUMMONED ================================================================================ BY NOSIPHO SHONGWE on 11/01/2017 00:00:00 MBABANE – Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Paul Dlamini has taken interest in the matter of Ngcoseni Central High School ‘sexy teachers’. The teachers are scheduled to meet the DPM’s Social Welfare Department officers. This meeting is expected to take place tomorrow at the school where all 54 teachers have been summoned despite it being school holidays. According to a number of the teachers who are contracted to teach at the school, they received calls from their heads of department, who informed them that they were all expected to report to the school to meet the officers. The meeting comes after pupils of the school fingered their ‘sexy’ teachers as one of the primary causes of their failure. A total of 166 pupils failed their Junior Certificate examination last year. Male pupils said some of their female teachers wore miniskirts and exposed their cleavages through their low-cut garments and this contributed to their poor performance. The pupils claimed that this resulted in some of them losing concentration in class. Other concerns raised by the pupils were that some teachers came to class just before the period ended for the subject. They also claimed that they were usually given homework, with the teachers informing that they knew the syllabus. This was exposed by this publication last week after speaking with some pupils, who were repeating the Form III class last year. In the school’s Form III class of 2015, a total of 94 pupils failed but 78 of them came back to repeat. However, they were separated from the group that came from Form II as they learnt in two classrooms.
