Sir,
Has government thoroughly thought, extensively consulted and researched about
the lockdown or it was a haphazard decision taken to suit only the needs of
civil servants and the high and capitalist class?
How is the low class going to survive especially those who have to wake up and
make ends meet?
Having no money means hunger behind closed doors when opportunities are locked
down. If they have distributed protective masks and sanitisers would there be a
need of an inconclusive lockdown?

The opening of banks and bottle stores as an essential service is a sign that
their interest is always on the pulpit! People will get drunk behind closed
doors and then become unruly and want open air!
Our government may have good intensions but many people will die of hunger as
their livelihood is in the streets and government has not detailed a clear road
map.
Yesterday, I heard the Ministry of Health giving us hope that those coming from
South Africa would be thoroughly tested and isolated but 100 people in an hour
destroy any hope that we have been safeguarded against the pandemic as they even
hid that one person had exposed his colleagues in one of the firms, which poses
a great danger to the Matsapha community. Should we be put in danger because
they have shares in the firms?
The lockdown is useless when people enter anyhow and there are public testing
sites which means we will die a horrible death in the lockdown. My letter is
incoherent but how can one sound sane knowing that we have a directionless and
indecisive government?
