MBABANE – A fusion of genres.
Internationally renowned stars Bholoja and DJ Mbo will be releasing a single
titled ‘Sindize Siyetulu’  this July. This follow-up project comes after the
2020 release of his single title ‘Emadlelweni’. The project will be a
collaboration of the artists and their sounds where they fuse Amapiano and
Afrobeats genres which the duo focus on respectively. The artists have promised
to deliver a modern sound through this project. “I have always wanted to work
with Bholoja as I’ve always been a fan of his work. The project would have
happened earlier but due to our busy schedules we could not do it at that
time,but we were finally able to record,”  mentioned the DJ. The project was
recorded at Subjamz Studios and will be released under New Life Records.
DJ Mbo, real name Mbongeni Sithungo is one of Eswatini’s most sought after
DJs, whose ability to captivate a crowd won him the Miller Sound Clash
Championship in 2014. The DJ was also sponsored by Eswatini Beverages and FNB
towards his trip Las Vegas, USA, for the Miller Sound Clash which had a marquee
there.
Gifted
The artist has been in the music industry for over 20 years now, and is
currently at the edge of the house music scene. The featured artist Bholoja,
born Mbongiseni Ngubane, is a very gifted and talented musician from the
kingdom. He has been making waves locally and internationally. His striking
voice and native lyrical songs have won him numerous awards and an expanded
following across borders. The upcoming single can surely be captioned simply as
a hit. Also looking at the recording structures behind the production, the
single can be dubbed to have sensational instrumentals which will embody
different modern sounds of the artist’s genres.
