MBABANE – The Sibebe Talent Search has revealed their top 10 contestants.
Since the competition commenced, local emaSwati entered with enthusiasm in their
respective arts.
On Friday morning, the organisation revealed Miyanda Mahlangu, Lil Answer Van
De-Askens, Alice Furusa, Bongani Shiba, Asap-sz Thenjwayo, Mandisa Smakcy Gunz,
Liyanda Magongo, I Love to Rap LTR, Siynda Zeus, Ace Pee Luswiba and Ncker
Luswiba as the finalists for the competition, which began in July.
According to the Eswatini Beverages Country Trade Marketing Manager, Phetsile
Mswane this marked a beginning to the journey towards the top five and top two
finalists of the talent search.

“Our top two and five finalists will be voted for by the public by reacting on
our top 10 talent search finalists’ individual videos, which will be posted on
our page during the course of the week,” she said.
Mswane congratulated the finalists and further encouraged the public at large to
keep their eyes glued to their pages.
The brand had been looking for talented musicians, photographers, poets, actors
and comedians as well as any other form of artistic talent they possessed for
their search, which has been taking place online.
“We have been looking for talented emaSwati to display their uniqueness and
impress the nation to show us what they have got,” she mentioned.

To make this a fair competition, Mswane shared that it was not a competition,
where they were looking for professionals.
“With the hope that COVID-19 would eventually be a thing of the past, we will
in future host an event showcasing different talents. It also serves to be in
our interests to involve the winners of the talent search in long-term plans
that have been halted by the pandemic for now,” she said.
The finalists each took to their social media accounts to express their
excitement about making it to the top 10 finalists.
Mswane said winners of the competition would then get the opportunity to
participate in the new and refreshed events that the company will host in the
future.
The brand is well known for hosting events such as the ‘Sibebe Friday Night
Live’ series, which was discontinued earlier this year.
In the competition, contestants stand a chance to win amazing prizes including
one of a kind custom Sibebe Premium Lager gift boxes, Sibebe Premium Lager Beer,
Limited Edition Sibebe Premium Lager Apparel and the ultimate prize - a chance
to be dubbed a Sibebe Premium Lager Brand Ambassador.

As a surprise, the top 10 contestants will feature in the upcoming Sibebe
Premium Lager theme song and music video .
In addition to the  prizes, the top five finalists will receive a  cash prize
each to boost their careers, courtesy of Eswatini Beverages.
