The merchants of bottomless laughter popularly known as Smallz the comedian & Co. will today bring their brand of crazy and good vibes through their online community show dubbed ‘An e-Vening of Thoroughly Sanitised Laughs and Socially Distant Rhymes.’ Bringing together the excellence of Eswatini’s foremost comedy collective and some of the kingdom’s finest poets including Poet Thabani and Festival B. The show is created to remind Eswatini and the world at large that even in these COVID-19 reigned times, amidst all chaos, the world remains a beauty and the human spirit is ought to be governed by hopefulness. It is worth mentioning that a few weeks back the collective opened their doors to aspiring local comedians and other performing artists . This event will see one exciting fresh talent Mcolisi Maseko, a young comedian hailing from the Northern Hhohho and touted to be the next best thing in the local comedy space. Performing alongside him will be Bongiswa Masondo, Festival B, Poet Thabani, opera singer Zweli Msibi, Gogo with Smallz The Comedian and S’lwane as hosts. Smallz the comedian whose real name is Lungelo Gina, assured comedy lovers the best night and performances that will crack their ribs with laughter. “In doing this show, our hope is far from financial returns but mainly our civic duty to the world as we believe we are better positioned to leverage our voice and influence. We want to do what we can to bring joy into people’s lives through such ideas and our signature viral videos,” he said. The show is scheduled to be streamed on the collective’s YouTube, Facebook and Instagram channels. It will start at 7pm. “ People can expect the best from us as we will be serving relevant jokes at the comfort of their homes.
