The series of Eswatini iconic jazz music artist Mbongiseni ‘Bholoja’ Ngubane’s shows will now be bringing South African renowned jazz music vocalist Dudu Makhoba. Dubbed ‘Yebo Mzala Yebo Gogo Concert with Dudu Makhoba’, the show will take place on June 23 at the Eswatini Theatre Club in Mbabane. Revealing this was Bholoja, the host, who said they were excited that the shows were gaining momentum and were being appreciated by many music lovers. “We have been hosting a series of shows and they are a build-up to the ‘Yebo Mzala Yebo Gogo Festival’, which we launched in 2016. “We are excited to bring Dudu and we are confident she will deliver impeccable music,” said Bholoja. Confirmed Makhoba confirmed her performance in the country with this publication. “I am definitely coming and I promise the best of me,” said the ‘Kulungile’ hit maker. Bholoja has hosted Blu Lamp, Gally Ngoveni, The Zulu Man, The Muffinz, Thee Legacy and many other jazz artists in the country. Makhoba’s exposure to jazz music began a passion and fascination which led her to doing a Diploma in Jazz and Popular music through the Central Johannesburg Concert. She has performed internationally as an actress and singer in the ‘Fat Black Woman Sing’ a choroe-poem theatre play written and directed by a popular African poet ans award-winner Napo Masheano.
