The much-anticipated Festival Xplosion is pressing all the right buttons for
entertainment heads, as they have now unveiled the first phase of the line-up
set to entertain the people who will be attending on July 27. Headlining the
list of performers for the first phase is none other than house music maestro
Prince Kaybee of the ‘Banomoya’ fame, a song that features the gqom queen
and house music vocalist Busiswa. Festival Xplosion PRO Nontobeko Nxumalo
confirmed that the South African DJ and Music Producer, whose real name is
Kabelo Motsamai, would be among the performers of the night.

The ‘Charlotte’ hit-maker also confirmed the booking when he was contacted
by this publication. Come the big night at Dwaleni Farm Lodge, throngs of
festival lovers will be chanting to dance hits ‘Banomoya’, ‘Fetch Your
Life’, ‘Gugulethu’, and ‘Club Controller’ from a live set by the
popular DJ. The house music kingpin, who is currently touring countries such as
Germany and Australia, was unveiled alongside Eswatini’s very own DJ Mbo and
DJ Wicked.  The Senekal born entertainer will be dishing out the finest
house/electric tunes set to mesmerise from his previous compilations, albums and
recently released album ‘Re Mmino’ which has gone platinum within two months
of its release. Prince Kaybee’s musical journey is testament to the belief
that all things are possible with a positive mind-set, as his story is that of
transitioning from humble beginnings to significant success.
Since his introduction into the music industry after claiming the title in the
1’s and 2’s competition, as a DJ and Producer he has given dance music
lovers better days. The acclaimed DJ will be extending those ‘better days’
to a better day in Eswatini and revellers should brace themselves for an
electric performance. DJ Wicked and DJ Mbo will be on the decks as well, to
entertain and enthral with their mixes. The hosts for the event are Eswatini
born actress Amanda Du Pont and producer Big Dreamz. Festival Xplosion is a
fireworks, music, food and lifestyle experience. The fireworks will be displayed
by a renowned company, Fireworks For Africa, which has worked in over 34
countries around the world.
