EX-EMPLOYEE DEMANDS E63 000  FROM DESTINY MUSIC & SOUND

MBABANE – It seems solving disputes outside the courtroom is becoming a thing
of the past.
Lihle Joice Mncina, a liSwati female of Ezulwini has taken Destiny Music and
Sound to court, demanding a total sum of E66 300 for allegedly unlawful
dismissal.
This has been substantiated by court papers that are in the Industrial Court of
Eswatini.
In her submission Mncina alleged she was employed by Destiny Music and Sound
(the Respondent in this case) on or about the month of September 2015 as an
accountant and was in continuous employment to Destiny Music and Sound until she
was unlawfully terminated by the respondent in February 2017.
Charged
Mncina further alleged that she was dismissed after being charged for various
offences such as gross insubordination, gross disrespect, gross incompetence and
neglect of duty.
She alleged that the Respondent never proved the alleged offences during the
disciplinary hearing as no evidence was submitted or witnesses called during the
hearing.
The applicant further alleged that she was granted the right to appeal which she
did and her appeal was dismissed.
At the time of her termination it is alleged that she was earning a sum of E5
100 per month which the applicant alleges that the respondent did not pay.
