AMANDA DU PONT SPLURGES  ON A E3.1M MCLAREN 570S!

MBABANE – Hardwork pays off, and sometimes, it does so handsomely! Eswatini
born South African actress Amanda Du Pont has surprised many, in the country and
outside our borders by ‘blessing’ herself with a brand new luxurious car; a
purple Mauvine Blue McLaren 570S which costs E3 150 000, excluding
modifications.
According to her posts on her social media pages, she bought herself the car as
a pre-birthday present. Her birthday is on June 26 and she will be turning 30
years.
Du Pont confirmed her new luxurious purchase with this publication, stating that
she is humbled and feels blessed in more ways than one.
“Making this dream come true is just humbling, that is all I can say about the
car,” she said, wishing to comment no further.
Speaking extensively to DRUM, a weekly South African magazine, about acquiring
her new car, the Skeem Saam actress revealed that she has always had a love for
cars and the McLaren has always been in her wish list.
“Those close to me know I have always had a love for cars. The McLaren is one
of the cars I’ve had on my vision board. I’m thrilled and blessed to have
been able to purchase it on my birthday month,” said Du Pont.
She also revealed that she went for the special Mauvine colour after her
followers helped her pick the bright shade, through an Instagram poll she posted
onto her story.
While many may think that sports cars are ideal for men, the Skeem Saam actress
believes that women are a force to be reckoned with and can do anything that men
do.
“Woman are doing big things, they always have been in all sectors of their
lives. It may only be apparent now, but we are a force to be reckoned with.
Women are empowering and being empowered. Woman are entering spaces, and
acquiring what was perhaps only perceived to be for men,” she told another
South African publication.
On another note, Amanda Du Pont’s sister, Kim, said, “She is living proof
that anything is possible.”
In a brief interview with this publication, she said that she is proud of her
sister Amanda, for buying herself a brand new McLaren 570S which cost E3 150 000
.
“Words cannot explain how proud I am of Amanda. Her deed is proof that
anything is possible through hardwork and determination. “When you place God
in the centre of your life, everything changes for the best,” said kim.
