After a stint of radio visits in South Africa, Ligwalagwala FM has teamed up with Icon PB to have Amanda Mo as part of their Valentine’s Day special performance. Local artist, Amanda Mo will be performing at the Mpumalanga SABC offices today where the audience will mainly be staff from SABC and stakeholders in the South African Entertainment industry. They will be treated to a non-stop fun and romantic serenades of Amanda Mo’s latest offerings including the likes of ‘Uwami’ and ‘Injwayelo’. Released Most of these songs pave way to the upcoming album that is set to be released soon. Mo’s management, Icon PB’s Phila Koshin Dlamini said that they have been having sessions with several producers and other artists in South Africa and Swaziland to build up the album project that will be released this year. “We are excited about Ligwalagwala FM teaming up with us because they will assist us to gauge ourselves through the product that is Amanda Mo. With the year starting with such partnerships, it shows growth and a good year ahead,” said Dlamini. On the other hand, Mo said that she was ecstatic to see this kind of growth in her musical career. She further said she will work hard to make sure that the country’s flag continues to be hoisted and that she is proud she is one of the people that has done that. “We are certain that Amanda Mo will be counted among the best in Southern Africa come the Easter period. We are in no illusion and understand that for all that to happen we have to put in the work,” said Dlamini. On the other hand Amanda Mo said that it was time to broaden horizons and try out something that she thinks will work with her as she tries to spread her wings across the continent.
