Barely a week into the ‘keDezzember’ excitement and hype, Master has dropped his 5th single, titled ‘Miss Behave’, produced by Mozaik the Producer and featuring King Terry and sultry vocalist, Mandisa Mamba. The concept developed out of a conversation among friends who were concerned about the need to educate young women on how to conduct themselves and to believe in themselves, instead of being swayed by the opposite sex and so-called societal norms and pressures. Support Master P has been very vocal about his support for gender equality, having been at the forefront of the #SheMatters Campaign, an initiative that aims to raise awareness on woman abuse, trafficking and rape. The talented DJ is a firm believer in women empowerment and hopes that one day, the young women in our society will see themselves through different eyes and realise their infinite potential. “In order for our society to truly experience a shift in this regard, our women need to be taught from a young age that they are beautiful, intelligent and kind. In order for this belief to be instilled, we all need to take this up and become socially responsible. Raise As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. If we could go back to the basics and remember this, the world would surely be a better place,” said the DJ. The track, ‘Miss Behave’ is about a young woman who is trying to find herself, but is influenced the high life which involves drinking well-known, expensive brands, drug-consumption, fast cars and finding the next man to fund their habits. This track is a follow up from Master P’s third track titled ‘Good Life’, which is a track that encapsulates what real good living is about. And this is what all the young Miss Behaves we know, are ultimately seeking.
