The seasoned artist revealed this yesterday during an interview. He told The Entertainment Desk that he felt that becoming a producer was a fit step at this stage of his career as he has accumulated a lot of experience over the years and would like to groom younger artists in the industry. He revealed that he was working hand in hand with a recording studio in Mtubatuba, South Africa where local artists who are interested in working with him can have their material recorded and mastered. “I have since become a producer and want to help Swazi artists in fine tuning their material and craft and with the experience I have in music I believe I have a lot to offer. More than anything I have an urge to give guidance to musicians that are up and coming in the country, especially those who are in the traditional music genre,” he said. Msikishi urged artists who would be interested in his production work to contact him. He added that the fee for a full album recording and mastering was E4 000. The artist also said that for demos there is also another studio at Sigodvweni where artists can have their demos recorded and judging by the product, he can then send them to the SPM Studio in Mtubatuba to produce more high quality records.
