Times Of Swaziland: King Mswati iii is hot! King Mswati iii is hot! ================================================================================ MFANUKHONA NKAMBULE on 12/02/2012 00:00:00 LOZITHA – His Majesty King Mswati III is among the top 100 heads of state considered handsome and with sex appeal in the world. They were described as ‘hot.’ At least 209 world leaders; kings, presidents and prime ministers were selected by beauty therapy specialists for a pageant dubbed Hottest Heads of State. To be considered hot or handsome, the head of state had to have sex appeal, fresh face, good smile, nice clothes, good walk and good body. His Majesty is among the top 100 hot world leaders in the world. In a pool of over 200 world leaders, the king was ranked 78 in the world. In Africa, he is in the top five. There are 196 countries in the world but the United Nations (UN) recognises 193 while the United States recognises 195. The number of world leaders is above 200 because one country can have a ceremonial king ruling with a prime minister or a president ruling with a prime minister who is also considered influential and a decision maker. This is the case in countries like Russia, Israel and others. Meanwhile, the Times SUNDAY can say that those who, in the beauty pageant, fell outside the top 100 could not make people pause for a moment to admire their handsomeness. This is not to suggest that they were unattractive, according to pioneers of the Hottest Heads of State Beauty Pageant. However, leaders who fell within the top 80 bracket are reportedly able to make people pause when they pass by. The beauty pageant was launched after realisation that most nations tended to elect old and unattractive Heads of State. The organisation behind the pageant is based in St Louis, Missouri in the United States. Worth noting is that in Africa, Joseph Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), is believed to be number one in terms of ‘hotness.’ Most African leaders did not make the list of hottest world leaders. About 20 of African leaders were picked for the contest. Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe, was picked but lies at the bottom of the list at position 205 while Jacob Zuma, the President of South Africa, is ranked 178. Jakaya Kikwete, President of Tanzania and Ian Khama of Botswana, possess the likeability charm. Beauty therapists believe that Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg is the hottest world leader, closely followed by Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan and President Kabila of DRC. The therapists say Christina Fernandez de Kirchna, the President of Argentina, is the hottest woman president in the world. Barack Obama, the USA president, makes the list, so does Nicolas Sarkozy, the head of state of France. "For too long, citizens of the world have suffered under the tyranny of unattractive leaders. Some people say this is just the way things are: unattractive people have a death grip on the levers of power that will never be loosened. We say: Not with that attitude, it won’t," commented the founders of the organisation. "By ranking the world’s leaders by looks, we hope to heighten voter awareness of this problem and shame the citizens of countries with unattractive leaders into rising up and staging coups or something."
