Big Fish' invites Swazis for Joyous show in Nelspruit

MBABANE- Big Fish Music under the stewardship of business mogul Sipho Makhabane
will host ‘Joyous Celebration’ in Mpumalanga.
Speaking yesterday, Makhabane said the show will feature top South African
musicians and will be held at the Lowveld Stadium in Nelspruit on June 11.

‘Big Fish’ as Makhabane is widely known, said this is just another way of
taking gospel top artists to the people. Makhabane also mentioned that this
time, the show will start at 1pm until mid-night.
Makhabane said it will be good for Swazis to attend the show as Nelspruit is
just a ‘stones throw’ away from Swaziland, and it would be an ‘outing’
for Swazis. "We are invading Mpumalanga with the Joyous Celebration group and a
crowd of other top gospel musicians," Makhabane said.

Other highly celebrated musicians to feature on the day include, Hlengiwe
Mhlaba, Rebecca Malope, Sechaba, Thobekile, Israel, Tshepiso and many more.
Makhabane said people will enjoy good music on the day from praise to worship.
"If you just want to cry in the presence of God, come to this show. If maybe you
just want to dance and have a good time, you too should come because we will
perform all kinds of gospel music," he said.
Makhabane, who is known for staging big and successful shows, said in South
Africa, tickets to the show are already available at Computicket, Shoprite and
Checkers.
He said in Swaziland they will soon be available in various music outlets and
Swazis will also be allowed to pay at the gate.

"I’m a Swazi, therefore I will definitely make sure that Swazis are allowed to
pay at the gate, because they may not be able to buy in advance.
Details of the show will be given in due course," he said.
On another note, the award winning star did not comment when asked if he will
bring the South African gospel giants to Swaziland like he has done in the past
two years.
Makhabane brought the group last year and the show attracted over 7 000 people
at the Mavuso Trade Centre.
