WE CAN REALISE OUR POTENTIAL

SWADEPA as a political party of choice continues to relentlessly and selflessly without respite to pursue the democratisation agenda in Swaziland using a multi-dimensional approach while safeguarding every moment, occupying every available space to make our case heard, received, diagnosed and eventually resolved.

In the journey of serious politics, discipline is the only bridge between goals and accomplishments.  SWADEPA believes nothing is impossible; in fact, the word itself when carefully examined reads I’M POSSIBLE.
People may ask why SWADEPA is different, the reason is SWADEPA believes darkness cannot drive darkness, only light can do that and SWADEPA is the light.
SWADEPA believes hate cannot drive hate, only love can do that and SWADEPA is love.

SWADEPA believes ‘only a life lived for others is life worthwhile’.
SWADEPA is aware that the country’s majority, which is the youth and women, are the worst victims of unemployment, lack of scholarships and grinding poverty. SWADEPA is unequivocally diametrically opposed to this state of affairs, particularly when we are a middle income country by World Bank and the International Monetary (IMF) Fund standards and benchmarks.

I agree with the assertions of the Bretton wood international institutions even as a layman, because just by observing God’s gift of being geographically positioned between two peaceful, stable and friendly countries from whose economy and infrastructure we are able to tap into, such that our status of being land locked is not felt as we are two hours from Mozambican sea ports and between three to  four hours of South African sea shores when we look at Richards Bay and Durban respectively.

We have beautiful road networks enjoining us to these countries and a railway network that already joins us easily with all the major seaports of the neighboring countries form our Matsapha Industrial Site, in particular which enables our export products  to reach all destinations for which they are destined.

Another additional plus economic factor to be considered as a blessing to Swaziland is that our currency is at par with the South African Rand and stronger than the Mozambican currency, whichever way, we are not disadvantaged for now I can say we do not plan properly.  There is a saying that goes ‘if you fail to plan you have already planned to fail’ and this is our major undoing.

We do hope that one day we shall be able to do some business through air cargo from KMIII International Airport just like some countries whose biggest sector is agriculture like Swaziland as they are able to export their products on a daily basis through air cargo to other countries.
