MBABANE – Timothy Myeni will be engaged in a project of building a church worth E5 million.

Myeni, former Lubulini Member of Parliament, leader and founder of award winning group Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors already has all the architectural expressions of the  church to be constructed at Mhlaleni.

Finalise

Myeni is currently waiting for the traditional structures of Mhlaleni to finalise the dispute that is going on which involves the place where he plans to build the church.

Once the matter has been finalised, he will then start constructing the church that will accommodate at least 3 000 people.
Myeni recently released a 12 track album titled ‘Uyalalelwa Unkulunkulu’.

The album which was released at the end of July has already sold over 25 000 units.
Most of the sales were recorded in South Africa where the album is being marketed.

Dedicated

Myeni who is the main man behind Ncandvweni has dedicated most of his time in marketing the album in South Africa.
In an interview, Myeni said he already has a plan and wanted to build a church that will accommodate more people.
“The church is growing very fast and I feel time has come for the church to have a permanent structure,” he said.

Myeni said he was still waiting for the ongoing dispute to come to an end thereafter he will know when exactly the construction will start.
“For now it will be difficult to give the time frame especially because there are still issues that need to be resolved. Once the matter has been finalised, we will definitely start the structure,” he said.
Myeni thanked all those who have supported the group saying had it not been for the support they have been getting from their fans they would not be where they are.

Supporting

“The album is selling well and I should say people are supporting us. We thank them for encouraging us now and again and we urge them to continue giving us the necessary support,” he said.
Myeni will be the second famous gospel artist to build a church worth over a million Emalangeni.

This follows Reverend Elias Shongwe of Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group who has spent about E1.2 million building a church situated at Logoba in Matsapha.
The church that accommodates about 1 000 people is already at its final stages.
