MANZINI – Thousands of fun lovers came to watch Big Nuz and the popular spin and drift show on Monday.
This was during the Swaziland International Trade Fair 2014 held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.

The event started as early as 9am where Team Swazi hosted the spin and drift show with spinners from the country and South Africa displaying various stunts with their gusheshes.
A point of note from this show was the fact that different car models are being introduced besides the gusheshes which is really attracting a lot of people to watch the game (sport).

Drift

Most importantly, was the fact that in spite of the fact that Tums WaterWorld Hotel hosted another spin and drift show on Saturday, it goes without say that the Swazi people have fallen in love with this game as they just cannot get enough of it.

The Extreme Sport Bikers from South Africa also got a great ovation from the audience as they displayed out of this world performances.
Live performances from artists started at noon as Floewe rendered a solid performance through her songs from her new album. One song the fans loved was the one titled ‘Mayibuye’.

Qibho and Sands also gave the patrons their money’s worth through songs contained in their new EP.
These includes ‘Indiza’, Ntfombatane Lenhle’ and ‘Cease Fire’.
During the intervals DJ Mixmash played some fine tunes to keep the ball rolling and interestingly the fun lovers responded well to the Hip Hop tunes.
At around 5pm the programme director, Skeel announced that Big Nuz was already at the venue the crowd went to frenzy.
Skills
As expected the bigger than life Mampintja was on point with his energy and dancing skills much to the amazement of his fans. It was a worthwhile 45 minute set and the track ‘Umlilo’ seemed to be still a hit with the local fans.
The love for DJ Tira from Swazi fans was also spotted as the audience screamed as each time his popular phrase ‘hello ladies’ was played even in his absence.
Before the group (Big Nuz) finished its performance, the smell of burning tyres led to people running down to the spin and drift track for the second set of the day.
