SOLLY MAHLANGU THRILLS AT TRADE FAIR GOSPEL SUNDAY

MANZINI – South African gospel artist Solly Mahlangu left over 1 000 gospel music lovers wanting more.


Mahlangu who has worked with a number of famous gospel artists who include Joyous Celebration and Spirit of Praise was the guest artist during the trade fair’s Gospel Sunday.
Mahlangu who is famously known for his song titled ‘Obrigado’ did what he is famous for as he left music lovers dancing throughout his performance.


Lovers


Some of the gospel music lovers doubted that Mahlangu would make it as he did not pitch up at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on time.
By 6pm, Mahlangu had not yet arrived and people were already asking themselves if he was still coming.
He arrived just after 6:30pm and went straight to the stage as the gospel music lovers were already waiting for him.


Indeed he did not disappoint as he gave out all he could to make sure that he impresses the fans who danced throughout.
As soon as he got to the stage Mahlangu sang his famous song titled ‘Obrigado’. This is one song that got the fans in a dancing mood.
He continued to sing other songs which included ‘Inyanga Enkulu’, ‘Ngiyamthanda UJesu’ and ‘Uphi Umhlobo’. These are some of the songs that got the music lovers on their toes as they danced throughout.


Impressed


Soon after his performance, Mahlangu said he was impressed with the behaviour of his fans saying he was amazed with the following.
“This is indeed amazing. I should thank the trade fair organisers for inviting me. I have not been coming here frequently but thanks to the trade fair organisers who made it possible that I come here this year. I am sure this will not be the last time as I have noticed that I have so many fans here,” he said.
