NOKUTHULA MBATHA FIRED

MBABANE – Miss Deaf Beauty Pageant Director Nokuthula Mbatha‘s duties have been terminated with immediate effect.
Mbatha was relieved of her duties on Monday by the Swaziland National Association of the Deaf (SNAD).

SNAD took the decision to release Mbatha after they noted that she had no time for them as an association.
The decision to release Mbatha from her duties has already been communicated to the Swaziland Beauty Pageant Association (SBPA)
Information gathered is that Mbatha absented herself from three consecutive meetings and the SNAD members did not take kindly to that.
They decided to release her as they felt she was too busy and her schedule was affecting the progress of the association.

In a press statement signed by Anthony Langwenya, SNAD President, he said the decision came after they discovered that Mbatha was a busy woman and in most cases was not available to serve the interest of the association.

“The board of the Swaziland National Association of the Deaf (SNAD) would like to terminate the services of Nokuthula Mbatha,” reads part of the statement.

He made it clear that Mbatha was a busy woman and this is what led to their decision to terminate her services.
Langwenya said Mbatha had absented herself from three consecutive meetings and that showed them that she had no time to attend to the association’s issues.

“We therefore believe that we need to move on and look elsewhere for someone who will be willing to work hand in hand with us,” he said.
