MBABANE – Tony Dlamini has bounced back as the chairman of the Swaziland Beauty Pageant (SBPA) interim committee.
Dlamini has been elected to lead the interim committee which will be in charge of the country’s beauty pageants.

Some of the pageants under the SBPA are Miss Swaziland, Miss Teen, Miss Cultural Heritage and Miss Tourism.
The previous committee was under the leadership of Tony who has once again been re-elected to the same position.

Confirming Tony’s appointment as the chairman was Stanley Dlamini, Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC) Chief Executive Officer.
“We believe in his ability and we know he has the potential of taking SPBA to another level.”
Dlamini said Tony has also been tasked to inform the public on the rest of the committee members.
“He is not alone in the committee. There are people he will be working with and he has been tasked with the responsibility of telling the public their names,” he said.

The CEO noted that their intention was to see to it that the pageants are conducted in a professional way.
“I believe that the committee will see to it that all the pageants become professional. As a country, we have to produce quality pageants that will be loved by everyone,” Dlamini said.

Tony could not be reached for comment as his phone rang unanswered. One of the questions that he was to be asked was who the rest of the committee members were.
