MISS SD AUCTIONS HER SASH AT THE HIGH TEA

MANZINI – Miss Swaziland Samukelisiwe Magagula hosted a successful High Tea on Sunday afternoon at The George Hotel.
The event saw different women who are experts in their fields give speeches to empower and give a few lessons on styling. 

The highlight of the day was when Miss Swaziland auctioned her sash.  Matsapha Municipal Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Gciniwe Fakudze conducted the auction.
“This sash is very important to me and I hold it dear to my heart as it symbolises my being Miss Swaziland. However, to show you just how important charity is I will auction it today for the money to be used in the many orphanages I visit,” said Miss Swaziland.

The opening bid for the sash was E100 and first to bid was Gciniwe Fakudze herself.

Auctioning

The ladies had fun auctioning the sash; the tight competition was between Image Consultants Sindi Dlamini, Neli Desousa, and Swaziland Beverages Sharon Maziya. Neli Desousa outbid the ladies and got the sash for E1 300.

Desousa was rewarded with a spa voucher by the Miss Swaziland committee, to treat herself at The George Hotel.
The spa voucher is worth E400.
