It was highlighted that the next beauty king has to be someone who will be an ambassador and be a great role model to the youth.

It was also announced that for the first time in many years, the committee would engage an independent auditor in order to ensure that there is transparency in all of the pageant’s projects.

... social media to be used

MBABANE – The Mr Swaziland Committee announced that they would make use of social media to promote the pageant and keep the public updated on all activities.

Already, the pageant’s Twiter Page is up and running with a few updates and objectives.

Committee member Sasha Groening announced during the meeting that those interested in taking part in the pageant should be ready to do so as applications will be available from September 1, 2013.
