Msandi, Khayalethu in Emagawugawu’s new album

MBABANE – Local poet Sandile ‘Msandi Kababa’ Dlamini has been featured in Mduduzi Nezinceku Zamagawugawu’s latest album.

The album titled ‘Iyakwehla Imvula’ was released a week ago and is already receiving massive  airplay in the various local and South African media stations.
Msandi is featured in the song titled ‘Wasinakela’ which is track 11 of the album that has 12 songs.

Also featured, is Ncandvweni Christ Ambassadors member Khayalethu Masuku.
The album also has two songs that feature South African gospel artist Malibongwe Qwabe and Faith Khanyile of Glory of the Last Days.

Mduduzi Simelane, Emagawugawu lead singer said the reason he featured these artists in his album was because he wanted to create unity, especially between the artists who sing gospel music.
“I am happy that the artists who I have featured agreed when I asked to feature them in my album. This is a great album indeed and I hope the people will give themselves time to listen to it,” he said.

Some of the songs contained in the album include ‘Ungambulali’, ‘Vutha Mlilo’,  ‘Ngithadiwe’, ‘He Watches Over Me’, ‘Libiziwe’ and Emfihlakalweni’.
The album was produced through the group’s production company known as Umlilo Music Production, a company responsible of producing the entire group’s music over the years.
Simelane thanked the Swazi nation for supporting the group saying the group was where it was because of the tremendous support they have received from their followers.

“As a group, we are amazed about the support we have got from the public. Our past albums have done well and this is because of the support we have been getting. We are pleased with the way our fans support us and we thank them for everything,” he said.

Simelane said since the album had been released, they would soon be preparing for its launch where the public will be invited.
“I can assure our fans that the album will be launched publicly and they should buy it so that by the time we launch the album, they would know all the songs. Rest assured, it will be one of the best shows that has ever been witnessed,” he said.
