BLAQUE Creations Entertainment Stable is pushing for a drive to breach the gap between the academically gifted and arts gifted pupils in local schools.

The stable is also engaged in talks with the Manzini City Council to have the Millennium Park as their residential venue to host events such as family fun days on weekends to keep the youth off the streets.

Their intention is also to have open mic sessions as well as dance competitions as a way of talent scouting for purposes of signing up new artists.

Blaque Creations is the same stable that formed part of the organisers of the Millennium Park Fireworks display on December 17, 2011.

Popular

These are the same guys who organised popular local hip hop star Dibadiba’s album launch at the Mavuso Trade Centre.

"The recent ‘Battle of the Titans’ between KrTC and Dibadiba which was on February 18, was also organised by Blaque Creations," said rapper Crackerboy.

On April 14, 2012, the stable will be leading a walk from Mahhala in Matsapha to Manzini as an awareness campaign on issues relating to drugs and substance abuse.

"We have also approached the Psychiatric Centre to assist us on issues touching on mental health, drug and alcohol abuse, and other related issues," said Preezy who is the stable’s singer.

Blaque Creations is an entity that specialises in artist management, branding, recording as well as events management.

The company has been around for the past 12 years under Sipho Makhanya who was Head of Creations until he handed over the reigns to the young energetic youth namely; Preezy (Phumlani Mbuli), Mzwa (Mzwandile Thwala), Crackerboy (Siboniso Tsele), and Mimz (Ndumiso Makhabane).

Hip hop sensation Dibadiba is signed under this stable. They say their vision is to have South African artists curtain-raising for local acts.

Talent

"We are all out to ensure that locals support their own brew and have the kingdom’s artists making a living from that God-given talent," emphasised Mimz

In a letter dated March 12, 2012, the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture expressed its full support for the crew’s vision.

"The letter serves to confirm that Blaque Creations is collaborating the SNCAC to host the Swaziland Artists Empowerment Walk to be held in the Manzini City Centre on April 14, 2012.

"The SNCAC is in full support of this endeavour that Blaque Creations has embarked on as it enhances our core mandate of development and promotion of arts and culture, especially music in the kingdom," reads part of the letter from the Arts and Culture council.
