MBABANE - The world acclaimed theatre play ‘Woza Albert’ premieres today at Theatre Club in Mbabane.

The play features well-known South African actors Hamilton Dlamini and Thulani Mtsweni. The show will run for two nights Friday and Saturday from 7pm.  Hamilton Dlamini invited theatre lovers to come and witness the thrills that they would be bringing during the show. “Theatre is an artistical way of portraying something on stage.

Woza Albert was written by Mbongeni Ngema and the play is one of the most successful plays which tells African stories. We invite emaSwati to come in their numbers so they can get the best out of African stories and plays. There will also be an acting workshop for children and adults. Bring the whole family for some laughter and fun,” Dlamini said. Even though written many years ago, the play remains relevant in the theatre spaces as it demonstrates innovation and creativity during a seminal period of theatre.
