MRS UNIVERSE AFRICA 2023 VOTING OPENED

MBABANE – Miss Universe Africa opened voting lines on Monday for this year’s competition.

The pageant will take place in South Africa (SA) at a venue yet to be disclosed. Mrs Universe Africa is a competition that is joined by married, divorced, widowed women who are ready to find themselves again. Representing Eswatini this year is Chakazile Motsa popularly known as Queen Chaka. She has appealed to the nation to vote for her as she is the only one representing Eswatini in the competition. She is contestant number eight in the voting list. She also shared with this publication that she was happy that the competition had reached this stage. “I am so excited that the competition has reached a stage where we are now being voted for. Voting can be done at Boxer stores and Pick n Pay. “Voting starts at E5 and the maximum is E100. “I will be happy if emaSwati can vote for me as I can promise that I will not disappoint them. I will do my best to fly our beautiful flag high,” Queen Chaka said.

According to Queen Chaka, when voting at shops, one can go to the money market counter at the selected stores, select the voting number of the contestant one wishes to vote for. From there, one can choose a voting bundle between E5, E10, E50 and E100. The cashier will then cast the votes on the Webtickets System and you will receive a voting receipt. Voting can be also done online through Webtickets website www.webtickets.co.za.
Here you can just go to Webtickests online, search for Mrs Universe Africa vote. Select a bundle amount (E5, E10, E50 and E100) as well as contestant number. You will then be required to select contestant number and pay using credit or debit card. After all this is done you will then receive a voting receipt. In order to hype the competition, a high tea event themed ‘Embrace yourself, African women!’ will be hosted on February 25 this month at Ramkiki Country Restaurant in South Africa.

This event will feature three SA guest speakers namely; Judy Ranoto, Happy Ngidi as well as Portia M. Tickets’ are available for sale with Eswatini Mrs Universe Africa’s only contestant Queen Chaka and cost E1 200.
