Mbabane – Eat, Sway, Love!

Today marks the first day of the much anticipated Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival. The two-day festival will be held at Malandela’s in Malkerns. When reached for comment, Festival Director Jiggs Thorne assured the public that they were ready to welcome the public as preparations were already at an advanced stage. “We have been around the block a few times, so we are now quite familiar with it all, the running around. Every year our aim is to raise the bar from the last event,” said Thorne.

Task

He went on to say that their task with the team was to make sure that people have the best experience every year. “People can expect an amazing experience even this year,” said the director. When quizzed on safety measures  put in place for the festival, he said: “Every year we make sure that we engage security personal, police, emergency services, fire departments and the medial team who will be on site ready to respond to any emergency,” said Thorne. Tickets are still available and will be sold at the gate for those who still haven’t purchased them. Gates will open at 4pm today. Tomorrow they will open at 10am.
