Exciting

“It’s really reassuring and exciting to once again be trusted with such a big stage, and I am definitely bringing my all to that stage. People should be ready to be taken on a journey of musical bliss” Uncle Karly said. He is not only a DJ but also artist manager, marketing consultant and events coordinator. DJ MBO also expressed that he will go all out for this year’s festival. “I appreciate the invitation and to be selected among the DJ’s who will be playing on the main stage. I also appreciate that I have been trusted to do this task, I promise to deliver as they have lined me up just after Zakes Bantwini, which means I have to deliver. It’s a good challenge, I love it and promise to deliver” MBO said. The local artists have been given a chance to shine once again as it was the case even last year. This year saw the number of local artists reduced to 10 compared to last years which was 13. This event will expose the local artists to different masses, also marketing them as brands. The beauty of Africa and it heritage will also be celebrated through the fashion theme ‘HAIRvolution’, in collaboration with Dala Spaces, which will host well-known SA Hair Artist Nikiwe Dlova. This will be preceded by a workshop in the kingdom where she will lead and collaborate with local hair stylists.
