The music channel is about the Gospel music genre, all spheres, all denominations, and all countries and most importantly, it’s a channel that promotes music with a message. “ONE Gospel is a visual content platform that saw the work that I was creating and loved it. They saw my posts on my Facebook page and approached me about premiering my upcoming work, and I was all for it. The relationship is all about growing content and sharing it’, said Matse. It’s worth noting that the date has been shifted from the initial release date which was this coming Thursday. The change comes after technical challenges that the recording company, Destiny Music, has been facing. ‘Uzenza kahle zonke izinto’, which is the name of the first single that was to be released, has another single paired with it, ‘Wena uluncedo lwami’ making up the EP.

The second single comes after Matse’s fans demanded more music from the artist and he decided to give the people what they asked for. The premier of the singles is a build-up to the artist’s upcoming album release scheduled for August. According to Music in Africa, gospel music enjoys the largest following of any music genre in Africa, giving ONE Gospel the unique platform to reach audiences throughout East, West, Central and Southern Africa. The latest development is huge for the Eswatini gospel artist and the artist body in the kingdom seeing that the album release will be a  compelling force for the African continent, to give Eswatini artists an attentive ear.

The upcoming music release by Matse will also get airplay from Ligwalagwala and Ukhozi FM in South Africa. These radio stations are one of the biggest stations in South Africa, respectfully by listenership. Ligwalagwala FM boasts of 1.3 million listeners. Matse is also a producer, songwriter and gospel musician. He was born at Saint Philips area in the Lubombo region.
