‘KENNY G’S LIVE RECORDING A SUCCESS

MBABANE – A night of deliverance.

The live recording of Samkelo Kenneth Ndlovu, popularly known as ‘Kenny G’, was more than just a gospel show for gospel music fanatics, but it was a date with the Almighty. Gospel music lovers, who attended the show that was held at the Old Zakhele FEA Auditorium in Manzini, were ushered into the presence of the lord by talented local artists. The venue was great for the guests -the stage came alive; sound system was perfect and the artists thrilled. One of the artists that really set the mood was Sphiwo Ndlangamandla, his song dubbed ‘Tive Temhlaba’ had the whole crowd singing along with their hands up. He gave a breathtaking performance that gave one goose pumps.

The main act, Kenny G also delivered an emotional set, while he was on stage, he shared his enormous excitement. He went on to thank the crowd for honouring the event, not only for the show but for making a date with the Almighty. “This is the day that the lord has made, we were with God and gave him all the praise because he deserves all the glory,” he said. He went on to share his latest worshipping songs and prayed with the audience. Music lovers were ushered into the presence of the lord as they also saw the thrilling performance of Bhelekazi, Portia Praise and many other exciting local artists. In an interview with some of the fun lovers, they attested to having a great time.  Nontsikelelo Mavuso said she had an epic time. “I had an amazing time, I danced, and most importantly I got time to meet the almighty,” she said. Mancoba Mbuyisa also shared his experience. “We can’t wait for the final project. I had a great time,” he said. The night ended on a high note with people singing and cheering.
