MANZINI – Gospel sensation Linda Dlamini packed music lovers at The George Hotel on Saturday night.

This was during his well-organised show, the Holy Ghost Party Festival (HGPF). Among the many performers were Siphiwo Ndlangamandla, Linda Dlamini, Tshepo Price, Xolly Mncwango, Nothando Dlamini, Nomandla and Ayanda Shange. Strict adherence to the COVID-19 regulations was applied as the audience wore their face masks at all times. It was a blissful night as all the performers gave it their all. It is not the first show where Dlamini has had gospel music lovers yearning for more as he has successfully hosted a show in Johannesburg, South Africa which was an album launch sometime in 2019.

Album

This happened where the ‘Lona Ngumyaka Wetfu’ artist was hosting a massive live DVD/CD recording for his upcoming album at GNF Ministries Auditorium, Alexandra in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday night.
During the show, new songs from Dlamini’s upcoming album titled ‘Old Revival in Modern Garments’ were revealed and they evoked emotions of high praise and worship at the packed venue, which is a 7 000 seater.
The award-winning gospel artist said he was excited and humbled by the turn out of people who came to support. “I cannot thank my supporters enough, they keep being an inspiration to push and do more in my musical journey. I will forever be grateful for that”, said Dlamini. He said that it was a bit tricky organising the show together as he had to make sure that all Covid-19 regulations were adhered to and also having to have a certain number of followers, he was not sure how his other supporters were going to be part of the event as outdoor activities were given a maximum of 500 people for the show to go on.

Moment

The man of the moment was visibly happy as he was seen mingling with his guests taking pictures before and after his performance on stage. God’s presence filled the room as he mounted the stage. He rendered some of his songs on his latest album dubbed ‘Old Revival music’ which was dropped in February this year. Dlamini rendered more than four songs in his latest album including the much-loved old revival song titled ‘Phati Gama likaJesu’ which left the church yearning for more and ushered them into the presence of the God. Closing his worship session, Dlamini sang one of his favorite songs dubbed ‘Konke Kuyanglungela’ which set the house of the Lord on ‘fire’ as members were dancing and cheering.
