SANDS ALBUM SET TO DROP THIS FRIDAY

MBABANE – You can now pre-save and pre-order Sands’ upcoming album on all digital platforms.

The highly anticipated Rhythm of Sands album is set to drop this week on Friday April 9, 2021 and the good news for Sands’ fans is that it is now available for pre-save and pre-order. The digital platforms include Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and Tidal. On the album, Sands only featured South African legendary musician Tshepo Tshola and it was produced by Sabelo ‘Subjamz’ Sithungo and Ziyawa kaZitha. The album consists of 13 tracks and the artist features Tshepo Tshola on ‘Ngiyathandaza’ which has proven to be a favourite among his fans as the video on YouTube to date has raked on 151 000 views.

Visibly elated at sharing news of his upcoming album, Sands thanked God for blessing him with a gift which he uses to touch people’s souls through the music he makes. “To the team at Kingdom Tales that worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this project, ngiyabonga kakhulu. I am also grateful to the artists and producers who contributed their time and talents towards the success of this production. Thank you to my family for all the prayers and support. You are a blessing,” he said. With a pre-save and pre-order this essentially means a user can add the unreleased song or album when they first see it until the release date when it magically shows up for them to hear in their Spotify queue or on any digital platform as mentioned.

He went on to add that hard copies of his album would be available at the end of the month. Sands, a Public Relations graduate from Limkokwing University, was born and bred in The Kingdom of Eswatini. He has a penchant for writing and performing. His debut project Sands of Time introduced him to multi-cultural audiences across Africa, giving them their first true taste of what he is about. It only took two years after releasing his debut love-soaked Afro-soul album for him to become a gold selling artist, headline some of the biggest events on the music calendar and become one of his country’s biggest exports.

This multi award winning singer, songwriter with his smooth vocal range and soothing harmonies is a performer of the highest quality. Having studied music, Sands has emerged as a mature and exceptional talent. Radio monitor official reports for 2017, named the artist single ‘Tigi’ as the biggest song of the year in Southern Africa, with over 1 billion impressions. This record still stands and the first single off his debut album, Tigi, has gone on to top a number of TV and Radio charts in Southern Africa, winning many hearts with his soulful and romantic sounds.
