MBABANE – ‘All is set.’

These words were said by Mxolisi Mabuza, who is the owner of the well-known Xchange lounge and shisanyama in an interview with the Entertainment Desk yesterday.

He said they will be hosting their first anniversary event as the lounge and shisanyama was opened last year.

“We started operating in November 8, 2019. This has been a rough year; the current COVID-19 pandemic has affected us a lot, our expectations were not met. But life is more precious than profits earned,” he said.

The event will be a one a kind as it will see the thrilling performances of renowned gospel musicians, the likes of Tankie Ndou from South Africa, Linda Dlamini and  Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group to name a few.

The show will also have a touch of comedy as local rib crackers will also grace the show, the likes of Matewu, Smallz, S’lwane, Gogo and Gedlembane.

“We also want to emphasised that the Xchange is not a saloon, but it is a place where everyone can come to relax and refresh. Our event will be a family oriented hosted on a Sunday,” he added.

He went on to assure the nation a safe environment as they will be adhering to all the COVID-19 regulations.

“We will be sanitising everyone and ensuring a safe social distance,” he added.

Mabuza also said they were open for suggestion on how best they can improve the venue.

“My sole purpose was diversity and to also help in improving the economical scale of the country,” he said.

Tickets will be sold at E100 for children and E150 for adults.
