MBABANE – Saturday night comedy lovers were treated to a streaming of Felix Hlophe’s no holds barred content of his comedy show.

Aptly named ‘I Hate my Wife, To Have and To Scold’, the show served as a comic relief to couples in long relationships and marriages that were at the verge of giving up while also bringing forward issues of  gender based violence.

The show was previously recorded live with an audience in 2018.
Speaking to this publication, the organiser of the live stream Thabile Maripe said she and Felix had brought their heads together to uplift the spirits for his followers in Eswatini during the partial lockdown.

His witty jokes took jabs at both the men and women as he tackled different societal issues.
Such issues included husbands cheating on their wives and being caught and then followed by the bitter situations that would occur from such situations.

Renowned

He also shared jokes on how men were always required to fight for their women in circumstances where they could see for themselves that they had no way of winning against whoever they were being pitted against.

Hlophe is a renowned comedian as well as a deejay at South African radio station, Gagasi FM and also hails from Durban in the Kwa Zulu Natal Province.
The comedy show was strictly reserved for audiences over the age of 18 because of its illicit and explicit content.

The live stream attracted over 300 viewers who would react with heart emojis and laughing emojis when they heard a funny quote on the show.
The comedy stream took over one hour long from 8pm on Saturday through Thabile Maripe’s Facebook page.

Maripe took a moment to express her gratitude to the hundreds of viewers that graced the live stream.
She further promised that should the response towards the first instalment be positive a sequel would be in the pipeline.
