MBABANE - Goosebumps, excitement and cheering. One of the hottest places in town at the moment, Mega Lounge, once again hosted a thrilling performer on Sunday.

South African rising vocal powerhouse, Ami Faku of   ‘Into Ngawe’ fame, was the main act of the night. Recently, Mega Lounge in Sidwashini, Mbabane has been making waves and Ami Faku made sure that she kept the fashionable club’s momentum going.

Revellers braved the cold and the light drizzle, as they came out in numbers to support the show. The Mega crew was well-prepared as they had tents to protect revellers from the rain.
First to perform on the day was newly-formed local duo, A2Z;  they lightened up the whole arena. It is worth noting that it was their first time performing for a huge crowd.

They were followed by one of the best vocalists in the country Shinely Greenz, who set the mood with her intimate set.
As if that was not enough, Super CDQ’s set made revellers shake off the cold as they were singing along and dancing. While they were still twerking and dapping to a hip hop and RnB set, one of the best amapiano DJs, Matamza brought the heat.

The pouncing cat dance move was the order of the night.  His set was one of the crowd’s favourite; one of the songs that made the crowd go wild was titled ‘Tikoloshi’, by Soweto’s Finest featuring KG Da King and Bizizi. The song was played twice. Matamza also shared a few dance moves as he played the song.
Fun lovers on the dance floor were all doing the tikoloshi dance move.

weather

The weather suddenly became kind as it stopped drizzling.
While they were waiting for the main artist of the night to take over the stage, revellers were still in their high spirits  and dancing. One would assume that it was a Saturday and some people were not going to work.

The master of ceremonies (MC), the hilarious comedian Ndosh, also made a light joke and asked the crowd if they wanted any sick sheets for Monday.
As they were laughing out loud, he introduced the ‘Into Ingawe’ hit maker Ami Faku, who came out looking like a star in her black shiny palazzo pants, leather jacket and a black crop top.
