MBABANE – The ACAESWA registration process has started!

The Association of Christian Artists in Eswatini (ACAESWA) has revealed that registration for existing and aspiring members is now open. Subscription fee per year is E400 and it is payable when registering. This was revealed by ACAESWA PRO Nhlanhla Mathunjwa with the Entertainment Desk on Tuesday.
Mathunjwa said registration was still on-going and did not state when it was going to close.

He said the E400  would facilitate programmes to help the artists grow.
“The association will be embarking on a journey to facilitate training courses that will see artists being skilled by professionals in the music industry.
“Also, we want to see to it that we connect them with professionals in the industry, in and outside the country. We will also highlight available opportunities that will see artists performing outside the country,” said Mathunjwa, when stating the advantages of being an ACAESWA member.

Mathunjwa emphasised that the E400 also included the training and other gatherings which the association would host.
Also, in the spirit of unity among gospel music artists in the country and beyond, the new National Executive Committee (NEC) of ACAESWA has invited all gospel music artists to a get-together on February 8. This invitation extends to non-members of the said entity, alumni and aspiring members.
The get-together, which will also be a brainstorming session on how to improve the industry in the country, will be held at the Rest Camp at Hhelehhele in Manzini.

Revealing the gathering was ACAESWA President Phetsile Masilela, who said the association had rebranded and would launch the new name on the same day. Masilela said members or non-members would get an opportunity of meeting and greeting the Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga.

Guests
“The minister is among the main guests during the association’s get-together to be held on February 8.
“On this day the artists will get an opportunity of addressing some of the challenges they go through in the industry with the minister,” said Masilela.
She also said the minister would be with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture, (ENCAC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanley Dlamini.
“They will spend time with the artists as they also want to understand some of their challenges.”
