MANZINI- The Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) have shown their zeal in promoting and guiding local shows.

This was shown yesterday morning at The George Hotel in Manzini where the said artistry house launched five crossover shows which will be happening in the country on December 31.

The shows include the popular and renowned Umlilo Crossover Show by MP Mduduzi ‘Gaw’zela’ Simelane and Tshwane Gospel Choir (TGC), the Shiselweni Mega Crossover by SWAMA’s Menziwokuhle Mthethwa.

The Shutdown Eswatini Party by Toxik Entertainment, Temdzabu Music Festival which was founded by Maskandi singer Mshikishi Mndzebele and the Lubombo Regional Crossover that was established by Reverend Elias and Shongwe of Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group.
With all the event organisers under the same roof, the ENCAC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanley Dlamini said he was excited to have event organisers who were willing to see emaSwati enjoy their December 31 under the same roof.

“Our duty as ENCAC is to ensure mass participation from people on artistic and cultural activities in the country.
“Also, our mandate is to give space to artists for their consumers to enjoy their craft.
“With the festival organisers present, we are happy that they offered widespread entertainment throughout the regions. This will minimise accidents as there will be less travelling,” said Dlamini.
