MBABANE - Beauty matters matter!

Former Miss Eswatini Director Thandeka Matse has proven that beauty matters are close to her heart by establishing and bringing the first Women’s Month Beauty Brunch to Hlatikhulu in August 24. The event, which is meant to celebrate the Women’s Month, which is in August, will be held at the popular Hlatikhulu leisure venue known as Assegai Inn. Themed ‘Day Time Glam’, the brunch, which was launched by a team of six women at Calabash Restaurant, is meant to motivate women to do things on their own. Matse sternly said the event was meant to motivate women not to rely on men to get things done as women also have the power to make things happen.

“This inspired me to create an event that will bring women together in a bid to empower one another. “During the event, we will share ideas on many issues that pertain to us as women, which will range from business, beauty, fashion, and enhancing our spiritual lives,” said Matse. The former pageant expert clarified that she decided to bring this brunch to Hlatikhulu as it is close to her people and her heart. She is from Hlatikhulu. “I want to see the women from the Shiselweni Region, both young and old, develop themselves and overcome any challenges they may be experiencing.

“We will enjoy a live performance by our very own Lyrical Busta, whose talent is unmatched. I know the ladies will enjoy this one. We also have a surprise guest lady DJ who will take to the turntables after the event,” she said. Speakers of the day will be Lendial who is a businesswoman, make-up artist Ncobile, Noxwaka Dalindyebo who will be speaking on etiquette, Founding Director of Kept Women Foundation Bawsslady Chichi and others. Tickets are available at Thashiano Beauty Parlour at Cooper Centre in Mbabane and Assegai Inn in Hlatikhulu at E150.
